Described as "delightful and one of a kind", The NorthWind Trio (Peggy Doerrie/flute, Tina James/oboe, and Tim Wells/bassoon) is a versatile woodwind chamber group that has enjoyed a vast array of performance engagements throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin since its inception in September of 1999.

Presenting an ensemble sound that is a refreshing, unique blend with an interesting variety of literature to offer, The NorthWind Trio performs regularly for wedding ceremonies, receptions, civic and corporate events. Some special highlights include: Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) Opening Conference in 2001, Memorial Service for Voiceless and Vulnerable (sponsored by State of MN) in 2001, and the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Heart Hospital of Abbott Northwestern and Minneapolis Heart Institute in 2002.

Demo CD (Refreshing Music for the Occasion) available.
