To “…take a beat for an honest, reflective, and productive conversation about what actions we need to collectively take to support the Black Community.” This is an effort by two black women in music, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery. #TheShowMustBePaused, for today June 2, and going forward “…in a fight for the long haul,” is an effort by these two women in conjunction with the music industry to turn off the music and hold a day to reflect and implement change in response to the death of George Floyd.
